The second half apparently refers to Stockholm Syndrome.

Safiya had a total of three spouses, all of whom were dead by the time she made this remark. It appears that she only remembered one of them as “my husband”.[[User:1234567|1234567]] ([[User talk:1234567|talk]]) 23:42, 11 June 2012 (PDT)
