A mujahid is one who engages in jihad fi sabil Allah, Jihad or holy struggle on the path of Allah. Both the Qur'an and later traditions promise those who take part in jihad booty and spoils in this world, and to those who die a promise is made of an eternal paradise, filled with the constantly-lusting [[Houri|sex nymphs]], endless gardens and bottomless cups of wine. Becoming a [[shahid]] by falling in battle during the course of Jihad provides many spiritual gifts to the mujahid, including providing forgiveness for the sins of his family, and guarantees him 72 hour al-'ayn (sex nymphs) for all eternity.
