Islamophobia
I'm glad you said you want to make this page your main project. I personally also think this page is very important. I had added it to our tasks lists (see #3 here). Sourced content from Wikipedia has been deleted in the past on their page for this topic and this is one revision that used to have some content that could be used (there may be other revisions in their page history). We'll see how it comes out in the end. I look forward to seeing how it comes out.
Let me know how I can help in improving this article. For example if you need additional research, or sources or quotes found, I can try to find them and put them in a Sandbox page. --Axius (talk) 15:22, 20 February 2014 (PST)
- I'll make a sandbox page and dump what I can find in there.--Axius (talk) 14:53, 21 February 2014 (PST)
I see we already have a sandbox page with some text: WikiIslam:Sandbox/Islamophobia and I had dumped text into this page, possibly in a random manner. I put in whatever could be used. Do you think its good or should I find some more text? I dont think I completed my research there but we can use what we have there and then see what else we can get. I did a quick Google search on Islamophobia polls. --Axius (talk) 16:26, 21 February 2014 (PST)
- I moved the version you were on to here: WikiIslam:Sandbox/Islamophobia and we have also a temp/scratchpad type of page we can use: WikiIslam:Sandbox/Islamophobia - temp (see the text dump section on this temp page). I will try to start working on the sandbox page. I would personally like to use the quotes first from prominent people and other referenced sources (that text dump section is a good start) and then later we can see what to do with other content. We also have articles of the essay kinds for content that doesn't have (or need) references. --Axius (talk) 16:33, 27 February 2014 (PST)
Looking forward to seeing the citations you said would be added to the article. I will try to add my stuff in the Sandbox below what you have right now. --Axius (talk) 12:26, 28 February 2014 (PST)
Citations
Yeah, I've downloaded several PDF reports and consulted one book. How many sources should I use, approximately?—Preceding unsigned comment added by LawrenceGilmore (talk • contribs) Date (Learn how to sign your comments)
- As many as you like or at least one. The more likely something is to be the contested, the more sources it would be nice to have for it. Also some sources are better than others. I'm assuming it will be inline citations using the <Ref> tag. --Axius (talk) 00:11, 1 March 2014 (PST)
I have already added several, but I'm sure they need to be cleaned up a bit. Checking out the text dump right now. LawrenceGilmore (talk) 12:29, 1 March 2014 (PST)

To make it easy for us to track discussions among current editors, I moved the discussion about logical errors to the Discussions page Discussions page (linked on the left). --Axius (talk) 04:36, 6 March 2014 (PST)
