People Who Left Islam

Have a good reading about it, and tell me, if it fits anywhere? Capitals00 (talk) 00:57, 15 July 2013 (PDT)

Hi Capitals00. Welcome to WikiIslam! Sorry, there isn't. --Sahabah (talk) 04:40, 15 July 2013 (PDT)

Universal Peace

Reverted your addition. I just checked the source and it says no such thing. Please don't do that again. --Sahabah (talk) 00:52, 19 July 2013 (PDT)

Notable former Muslims

In this edit, you added a link to Kushro Khan. That links doesn't exist on Wikipedia. Wikipedia links only exist on that page if they are actually active.

Also it looks like the ref link for Nafisa Ali doesnt have any information about her conversion.

Please also explain this edit where as pointed above, you added a reference where the relevant information is not found.

Please respond here to all of these issues before making any further edits. thank you --Axius (talk) 04:38, 23 July 2013 (PDT)

I corrected on my 2nd edit, "Khusro Khan", that's the real name, and it exists in wikipedia, he was forced to convert into islam, but once he became powerful enough, he would go back to his actual religion, which was hinduism. As for Nafisa Ali, well, she married to a sikh, thus she's a sikh, see:-

http://www.mid-day.com/poll2009/2009/apr/130409nafisa-ali-differences-with-congress.htm

And yes, my addition [1] was actually mistaken, i should had added this source instead:-

"Selections-From-Bhavishya-Purana" By IslamKotob, Page 28 - 31[2], and this source should be added, because it talks almost same as it should be there. Capitals00 (talk) 10:49, 23 July 2013 (PDT)

"Selections-From-Bhavishya-Purana" By IslamKotob is not a reliable source, as far as I can tell. It's just some random anonymous author publishing stuff on the net. We already have a reliable source for our claim, so an additional, unreliable source is not needed.--Sahabah (talk) 11:39, 23 July 2013 (PDT)
Hi Capitals00, yes thats not a reliable source. Please evaluate the reliability of sources before adding them to any page. It can be a news source, a known author and so on. The link you added for Khusro does not work. You can preview the edit and make sure newly added links are working. For Nafisa Khan, marriage is not enough. We need the source to say she converted to Islam. Another thing, if you add any sources they should be such that we can verify them easily (e.g. they can have a link). thanks --Axius (talk) 17:50, 23 July 2013 (PDT)
[Khusro Khan is at wikipedia. Nafisa ali was muslim by birth, then she convered to sikh, and married a sikh[3]. That's how, final point would be that she is no more muslim, nor she converted to Hinduism. Capitals00 (talk) 20:46, 23 July 2013 (PDT)
hi Capitals00, ok. That links works, however the link that you used in the article did not. Click here [4] and click on that link. That was the link you used (you can see it says 'Page doesnt exist'). So when you put in new links, you need to do a preview and do a quick check to make sure its working.
For Nafisa, I think the new link is better than the ones you gave before (as in, it talks about her beliefs) however it says she believes in Vedanta [5] which is a Hindu book so she can be a Hindu convert or "humanism" or something like that. Do Sikhs believe in the Vedanta? This is a Hindu book. Please clarify. Hindus can also marry sikhs. Lets not spend too much time on this certain issue and again from now on please double check your edits and make sure what you enter is accurately reflected in the source (so you cannot make conclusions that the source does not make explicitly). --Axius (talk) 21:10, 23 July 2013 (PDT)
