The '''Ṣaḥābah''' (الصحابة‎ ''Companions'') were the companions of Prophet [[Muhammad]]. According to traditional Islamic sciences, an individual must have seen Muhammad, believed in his prophethood and died as a believer in order to be considered a Sāhib or companion.<ref name="Haddad">Sh.
