Talk:Diacritical Marks of the Qur'an

banaat بنات does not mean "she built". It is the broken plural for bent بنت. Hence it means "girls", not "she built". She built is بنيت
So while your argument regarding diacritical marks and nuqoot is duly noted, even if one completely removes the dots (something I am incapable of doing with the fonts on my computers) you can see that "she built" could not possibly be confused with "girls", as the yaa ي always joins with the next letter, unlike the alef ا
Someone with a deeper understanding of Arabic should examine and rewrite this so that it is actually a viable example and not what it currently is, a faulty example.
