{{Quote|https://sunnah.com/muslim/52/7|Abdullah b. 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying:
Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, would fold the Heavens on the Day of Judgment and then He would place them on His right hand and say: I am the Lord; where are the haughty and where are the proud (today)? He would fold the' earth (placing it) on the left hand and say: I am the Lord; where are the haughty and where are the proud (today)?}}
Curiously, the right hand of God fit an entire universe, but it does not fit a small piece: Earth. In order to keep the "roll of a flat earth," God needed a second - left - hand.
===Allah wants his followers to sin===
Contrary to usual perceptions of sinning—that sinning is forbidden and discouraged in the first place—Allah/Muhammad actually ''wants'' Muslims to sin and then repent as is implied in this hadith.

Abu Dawud said: There is something about this tradition in my heart. I used to discuss it with Ibrahim and others. I did not find anyone who narrated it from Hisham and knew it. I did not know anyone who reported it from Hisham and knew it. I did not know anyone who related it from Hisham. I think the confusion is on the part of Ibn Abi Saminah that is, Muhammad b. Isma'il al-Basri, the freed slave of Banu Hisham. In this tradition the mention of words "a Magian" is rejected; the mention of the words "at a stone's throw" and "a pig" is rejected.
Abu Dawud said: I did not hear this tradition except from Muhammad b. Isma'il b. Samurrah and I think he was mistaken because he used to narrate to us from his memory.}}
This hadith is classified as weak and Abu Dawud himself explains his doubts about it. But firstly, it is in keeping with other Sahih hadiths that say that a Muslim's prayer is nullified by a dog, a donkey, and a woman. Secondly no doubt or debate seems to have occurred over the presence of the word "Jew" in this narration. So a Jew can be considered an extension of the list of things that nullify prayers. |
