Muhammad's prophecies are predictions written hundreds of years after Muhammad's death and attributed to him. Many prophecies are considered "signs of the Hour" (Islamic eschatology). Some prophecies are general statements that fit on times even before Islam, other prophecies predict early Islamic history (which happened before the predictions were written) and some prophecies (most of them unfulfilled) predict the future after the hadiths were written. | |||
