Missing Verses

14:27

Allah confirmeth those who believe by a firm saying in the life of the world and in the Hereafter, and Allah sendeth wrong-doers astray. And Allah doeth what He will.
Al-Bara' b. 'Azib reported that this verse:" Allah keeps steadfast those who believe with firm word in th;s world and the Hereafter," was revealed in connection with the torment of the grave.

14:28

Hast thou not seen those who gave the grace of Allah in exchange for thanklessness and led their people down to the Abode of Loss,
Narrated Ata
When Ibn 'Abbas heard:-- "Have you not seen those who have changed the favor of Allah into disbelief?" (14.28) he said, "Those were the disbelieving pagans of Mecca."
