==Boasting about Murder==

According to the Islamic tradition, the early Muslim community faced numerous threats and were in a near constant state of war with their neighbors. As such Muhammad utilized many stratagems of war against his enemies, including targetted assassination orders as well as at least one recorded case of mass execution of a troubling tribe of Jews. After the defeat of Mecca, the tradition records that a series of "ridda wars" followed during which false prophets rose up on the Arabian prophet and attempted to usurp his place as leader of the Arabs. Muhammad also responded to these prophets with order to execute or assassinate them.
