A mujahid is one who engages in jihad fi sabil Allah, Jihad or holy struggle on the path of Allah. Both the Qur'an and later traditions promise those who take part in jihad booty and spoils in this world, and to those who die a promise is made of an eternal paradise, filled with the constantly-lusting [[Houri(Heavenly Virgin)|sex nymphs]], endless gardens and bottomloss cups of wine. Becoming a [[shahid]] by falling in battle during the course of Jihad provides many spiritual gifts to the mujahid, including providing forgiveness for the sins of his family, and guarantees him 72 hour al-ayn (sex nymphs) for all eternity. | |||

{{Quote|Ishaq 208|When Allah gave permission to his Apostle to fight, the second Aqaba contained conditions involving war which were not in the first act of submission. Now we bound themselves to war against all mankind for Allah and His Apostle. He promised us a reward in Paradise for faithful service. We pledged ourselves to war in complete obedience to Muhammad no matter how evil the circumstances.}} | {{Quote|Ishaq 208|When Allah gave permission to his Apostle to fight, the second Aqaba contained conditions involving war which were not in the first act of submission.
